Funding
Weekends @ Maryland provides funding opportunities for events occurring on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays. All student groups registered with the Office of Campus Programs may apply for funding. Applications must be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to the event. Interested student groups should contact Jacquelyn Jones at jjones16@umd.edu to receive an application form.
Student groups can also volunteer with Weekends @ Maryland for a T.G.I.F. or Saturday Nite Alive program. T.G.I.F. takes place the first Friday of every month and Saturday Nite Alive takes place every second Saturday of the month! Groups send five volunteers who will help with the events for the night, in exchange for $100 for the group. This is a great fundraising opportunity for your organization.
